Kotaku has news from a recent Blizzard Entertainment press conference held earlier this week on the latest information on "Wrath of the Lich King", the second expansion pack to the "World of Warcraft" franchise. The anticipated Death Knight class can be unlocked with an available toon that is over Level 55. The new class will start at level 55, and with the new level cap (70-80), getting to the max should be a breeze, especially for WoW vets. It is also possible to revive the dead using corpses of mobs and players for special abilities to get through the battle.

Another feature exclusive to WotLK is the new raid setups; you can choose to have 10-man or 25-man versions of an instance, which is useful if you do not have enough guild members at the time of the raid. Flying mounts will also be available in Northrend, as well as the ability to use existing Outland mounts. Now that more details are out, it may not be long until we see retailers taking pre-orders. There's still plenty of time to explore Burning Crusade content, so get a move on!
