Max Payne 1 -- The character Max Payne was modeled after the writer.
Max Payne 2 -- The character was modeled after a real actor as were the other characters in the game. Max Payne's female love interest in the game was also modeled after a real woman. Sorry i don't recall the games.
I remember when Max Payne 2 came out alot of people didn't like that they changed what Max looked like.
