I'm tired of having a dozen different set-top boxes, I just want one. I want a slim, unobtrusive, sexy home entertainment system. It needs to play games, Blue Ray discs, record TV, downloads movies, streams music. Like it?..Digg it.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the AppBoxWii60voray:

My living room is cluttered with way too many electronics. Not only is this contributing to the eventual heat death of the universe, it also makes me look like a massive nerd. I just want one remote and one set-top box. Is that so much to ask?

The Xbox 360 has come close, but with no blue ray player, I'm forced to have at least one additional device. I don't' want a PS3, so I'll have to settle for an actual Blue Ray player (thanks toshiba for being massive pussies).

The 360 also doesn't have tivo capabilities. And no, an additional media center PC does not help.

I also want to be able to download and stream movies in hi-def. Microsoft has at least made an attempt at this, but the Xbox Live Marketplace suffers from the fact that it was made by Microsoft, ie it sucks.

All this angry ranting has really gotten me thinking, what if...

What if there was one box to rule them all, one box to find them, one box to bring them all and in the darkness bind them?
