File Description
This mod aims to eliminate many of the maintenance requirements to make the game more accessible.
File Instructions
Casual Oblivion 0.2
03/30/06
Included modules:
1)Levelled Rewards
All unique levelled items given as a quest reward will now be given at the
maximum level.
2)More Durable Weapons and Armour
Weapons and armour take damage 1/3 as quickly as before
3)Increased Charge
All Sigil Stones, magic weapons and soulgems have 3x the charge. Staffs have
not yet been done for time and balance reasons, though will be in the next
version of the mod.
4)Enhanced Soul Gems
All Soul Gems now carry a more powerful enchantment - note that on weapon, this
will not increase the actual charge, merely the maxiumum possible strength of
the on hit effect(s).
5)Increased training
Train 100 times per level. Training costs are not affected
Any of these mods can be individually selected, so those who only want to
choose a particular feature are able to do so. Thanks to Scott for suggesting
this.
While this mod is unbalancing, it's not intended as a cheat mod, but was
instead born of my frustration at my gauntlets breaking after every fight and
my weapons having to be recharged after 2-3 Dremora. From there, I started
"fixing" other features I found annoying.
To install, unzip all files to Oblivion/Data and then select whichever mods are
desired from the Data Files menu.
Please send any feedback, suggestions for future versions or bugs to
dharlow[at]@runbox.com. With repeatable bugs, please send a save file and a
list of the mods you were using at the time.
