Orcish Kabuto V.1

By Orcasm

I loved the orcish armor in morrowind. I like the orcish armor in oblivion, but
I was greatly disappointed with the helm. Having searched around for a solution
to this, I was unable to find a samurai-esque lid to top off my armor. This
seems to be the driving force behind every mod I make. Taking elements of
existing Helmets or Kabuto that I had seen, as well as some creative
inspiration from friends and forum-goers did my best to create an Orcish style
Kabuto. It's been a really fun project, and a great chance to excersize that
creative muscle. I would like to invite anyone who wants to to retexture &
re-release this mesh as they so desire as I'me certain there will be plenty of
folks who want daedric glass, or whatever variations. All I ask is for a simple
mention. Well, without further Adieu:

At Borba's Goods in Cheydinhal is where you'll find two helms for sale, the
Orcish Kabuto as well as the Maskless Orcish Kabuto. They have a slightly
higher defense rating and cost than the standard orcish helmet.

Known Bugs & issues:
I was unable to use an EGM file for scaling, because this is a custom mesh.
Because of this, the helmets do not scale with the size of the head of your
character. I took what I believe to be the average size of an oblivion
character's head to be and based the mesh off of this, with a little room to
spare. Unfortunately, Characters with very large heads will experience
unsightly clipping issues. At present, there's nothing I can do about this, but
I will do my best to solve the issue, once a solution becomes available. Also,
the helmet doesn't drop on the ground properly. You can place it in containers,
or on mannequins, but if you try to drop it into the worldspace, it will basicly
become unavailable.

Special thanks to Grimdeath for his expertise and advice on the UVmapping &
texture work. You rock man.
