File Description

This is a new texture pack containing 1,500 textures to enhance your maps. Works in all of Source not just hl2. Main content: Metals,decals(signs),concrete/rock.

File Instructions

This is a Texture pack for All of Source, including
half life 2, hl2 dm, day of defeat source, counter strike source.
These textures were compiled together by cncr04s
http://www.cncr04s.com

There are about 1,500 diffrent textures i selected out of 5,000
in this texture pack. The textures in this pack are mostly metals.
They are arranged by type, such as concrete, brick etc
These are for making maps, or if you encounter a map that
has any of these textures, installing this pack will allow
you to play that map without downloading the textures from
the game server.

Installation:
get winrar or powerarchiver. they allow extracing of rar files if
you do not know what a rar file is. http://www.rarsoft.com
http://www.powerarchiver.com/

extract the contents, there should be a folder named cncr04sp2
it must be extracted into half-life 2hl2materials
or half-life 2 deathmatchhl2mpmaterials
or day of defeat sourcedodmaterials
or counter-strike sourcecstrikematerials
If you have steam you might have to go into your steam dir and
find these folders. After you extract you can begin to use the
textures.

this works in the following games half-life 2 deathmatch day of defeat source counter-strike source if you can get this into these 3 games in addition to half-life 2, that would ge great( for maximum coverage). not a requirement for you to do but if you can...

Nice textures, but none of them are from Half Life 2, sadly. One of the texture packs is from Day of Defeat. The others I haven't been able to identify, but they look like textures from some sort of occult space adventure game.
