Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Ancients: The Fury Within v1.01 M

This is the upgrade to the v1.0 of this great mod for Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. See the ton of additions to this version on the additional information page.

New Features in v1.01

Characters:
=========

1. Revamp Druid skills by letting him cast molten boulder, firestorm, cyclone armor, and fissure while in wereform....

2. Slightly nerf some skills to cope up in a 6 player simulation (too darn Lazy to post it all here so better see it for yourself)...

3. Increased the required level of each skills, so that you will force to put some extra points in some lower level skills.. the skilltab skill level requirement was now lvl 1, 8, 16, 24, 32 and lvl 40 for the last skill instead of 1, 6, 12, 18, 24, and 30 in the previous version and original LoD...

4. Fixed the druid bug were in the game crash while transforming to wereform with high points on lycanthropy (check this one out and please give feedback)...

Gameplay:
=========

1. Starting a new character is a must since you can now gain 2 skills per levelup and 6 stats per levelup....

2. Slightly nerf some skills to cope up in a 6 player simulation (too darn Lazy to post it all here so better see it for yourself)...

3. Lots of new dungeons that you can play with to gather some experience....

Difficulty:
===========
The Fury Within Simulates 6 player game... all monsters has x6 HP.
Slightly Increased Monster Density on every level... so expect lots of monsters that you'll encounter....

Gems:
=====
1. Added 35 new Fury Gems (gems in purple) so all in all, "75 new Fury Gems" that you can add to your items to gain their powers... They can now display their own properties correctly...

2. Added New rune Higher than Zod! Its the Ski rune that adds 1 to all skills when you socket them...

3. And another Good news about the Fury Gems... They can now added to all your favorite items such as Helms, Armors, Gloves, Boots, Belts, Weapons, Shields, Rings and Amulets with No item restriction!... You can even upgrade them to higher level by combining 3 the same fury gem type...

Note: Advisable no. of properties on each item is up to 25... Dont know if it will crash higher than that... So use them wisely...

Horadric Cube Recipes:
=================

Fixed some recipes that dont transmute by revamping their formulas... Go and check the readme file or click here to have some idea of what's have been changed...

Item Drops:
===========

1. Slightly revamp the treasureclass to avoid raining drops of sets...

2. "Guess Who?" The Elder of underground passage level 2 in Nightmare drops a complete Expansion Set Randomly... Meaning, he will drop a complete Expansion Sets but random sets... Get it?... Blah!

3. Again, "The Guess Who?" of underground passage lvl 2 in Hell will drop a complete Fury Within Sets Randomly!... WoW!... But be careful with them...

4. Zann Esu in Icy Cellar (act5) in Hell will drop a random class specific unique amulet and ring.... So What are you waiting for? Go kill him and test your Luck!

5. The Butcher in Normal will drop a complete classic sets randomly! (Who cares!)

6. Killing Act Bosses has a high percentage of dropping uniques!

Miscellaneous:
==============

1. Added new class specific Rings :

a. Hunter's Ring = Amazon.
b. Shadow Ring = Assassin
c. Mage Ring = Necromancer
d. Holy Ring = Paladin
e. Arreat Ring = Barbarian
f. Elemental Ring = Sorceress
g. Nature's Ring = Druid


2. Added new class specific Amulets :

a. Ranger's Amulet = Amazon.
b. Stealth Amulet = Assassin
c. Bone Amulet = Necromancer
d. Knight's Amulet = Paladin
e. Harrogath's Amulet = Barbarian
f. Spellcaster's Amulet = Sorceress
g. Beast's Amulet = Druid

Note: They have also corresponding unique (level 80) each...

Monster Stats:
==============
1. Lots of new monster gfx! thnx to Joel for some of them! You better look at it for yourself or wait for my screenshots to upload... Not to mention the special appearance of some that you'll never for get muhahaha.. hehe

2. Added Cow King in Underground Passage level 2...

3. What? Ettin is Back? Oh yes... from the TA he's back with a vengeance!

4. Cloned The Countess in cathedral so you'll have an option to skip the tower cellar and kill her in the cathedral before killing Andariel in Act1....

5. Baal minions summons Andariel, Duriel, Izual and Nihlathak in order...

Unique Items:
=============

Unique items??? Better see the thread here to have atleast an idea... Dont have time to update the site yet so better take a glimpse here! But dont reply! Thanks to the people who suggested them... You know who you are! hehe...

Gambling:
=======

Slightly tweaked the gambling odds to 5% sets, 3% uniques, 20% rares, and 72% magic... Thanks to Code Editing people in providing me this one...
