4. Installation

*****************************************************************

To install Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars run the setup.exe. Once the setup
program
has started, a series of on-screen instructions will guide you through the rest
of
the installation procedure.

5. Performance Tuning

*****************************************************************

There are several things you can do to increase game performance.

- Make sure you have no other programs running in the background.
- Lower the game resolution. The game runs faster at 640x480.
- Turn anti-aliasing down or off.
- Turn Trilinear and/or Anisotropic Filtering off.
- Turn Compress Textures ON.
- Try with Use Low Res Textures turned on.
- Turn Reduce Shader Detail By Distance ON.
- Set Max Lights and Shadows Per Model to lower value.
- Turn off Character and Non-Character shadows.
- Set Shadow Maps Sixe to Medium or Low.
- Set Water Details to Medium or Low.
- Turn off Reflections.
- Turn off other details like Bump-mapping, Specular or World Shadows.

NOTE: Turning video details off will degrade overall visual quality but
improve your framerate.
