Blizzard denies Uwe Boll WoW movie rights

"We will not sell the movie rights, not to you... especially not to you," says Paul Sams to German director Uwe Boll according to MTV news. Uwe later basically admitted that he would make a bad movie when he was quoted as saying "Because it's such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it."
So there you have it. Rumors continue to grow about an upcoming World of Warcraft movie, but the director definitely will not be old uncle Uwe. In fact, Uwe says that he may cease his movie career entirely if an online petition for him to stop making movies grows to 1 million.It has currently been signed by over 200,000 people.
