Trailers and Game - Play speak louder than most words, with the exception of those (words) crafted within the fantastical world of Blizzard's Diablo Series...

It was announced on the 28th of June -- and my heart is pounding with every step they take in it's development;

"She seemingly clutches at her heart in defense of herself...just as we would clutch at our copies of Diablo 3, were it released and on the shelves, of nearby stores"...

Alot of people got very excited at this news, I'm more restrained considering alot of dissapointing releases lately. However the Blizzard team have a pretty decent reputation going and I'm hoping this plays as well as the prior games in the series

Just remember that this is fairly early work in progress -- nothing is final, gameplay - wise...and even it does just come out with a pretty generic hack and slash swordplay system -- just keep in mind that Titan Quest (a Diablo clone set in Greece) was all right....if a little repeticious at times...

Let us just hope that it's actually great, if a little more innovative...

I remember playing the second Diablo, but I never got the attraction. It all seemed pretty basic to me. Although, granted, I never got into it like most people did. This third installment is hardly a giant leap from the previous incarnations, based on the gamplay video I've seen; slightly more polished graphics, but the same basiic set-up. Maybe that was intended though, to stay faithful to the original.
