At VGPRO, we take copyright infringements very seriously. To have the content removed or placed under your name, contact us with historical proof that you were the original publisher or creator. All copyright violators are banned from the site.

Yes, we can. Having a complete database of all pc and video games is our top priority. If you see a game that we don't have, please contact us. We'll add the game immediately.
Pro Contributors

What are "Pro Contributors" and how does it work?
Becoming a "Pro Contributor" enables you to make money on your VGPRO game content. After becoming a "Pro Contributor", you'll be invited to associate a valid Google Adsense ID with your VGPRO account. This Adsense ID is used to serve up relevant ads to viewers of your content. You'll receive 100% of the Adsense revenue earned from your content.

How do I achieve "Pro Contributor" status?
Achieving "Pro Contributor" status is pretty simple. When your "Pro Contributor" progress bar reaches 100%, you're officially "PRO". We calculate the progress percent based on the amount of content you've submitted and the quality of that content. Think of it like leveling up your character in an RPG.
Each "blog post" and "review" counts as 5%; each "file" and "guide" counts as 10%.
All content must be original and have at least 1,000 views and a rating score of at least 80% approval with 10 or more votes.

How can I check my progress towards becoming a "Pro Contributor"?
Look for your "My Tools" box, which can be viewed on most pages, including your profile page. From there, you'll see a progress bar. Use the arrows to tab between all of the different badges that you're working towards achieving; this includes the "Pro Contributor" badge. When your "Pro Contributor" progress bar reaches 100%, the pro contributor badge will appear on the about me section of your profile page; you'll also be notified via email.

How can I check my content stats?
Each content page has its own stats located in the "Rate this Content" section. From there, you can view total page views, number of votes, and average approval rating score. You're content will need to have an 80% approval rating with at least 10 votes and 1,000 views to be counted towards becoming a "Pro Contributor".

Why not let regular users monetize their content, why do I have to be a "Pro Contributor"?
First of all, anyone can become a "Pro Contributor". All you need are a few pieces of quality content. Our main reason for creating a rewards system is to provide an incentive for users to submit good content. This filters out the bad content and promotes legitimate contributors. If your content is good, you'll have no problem becoming a "Pro Contributor".

Will I become filthy, Bill Gates, rich by participating in VGPRO's revenue sharing program?
At VGPRO, we consider the community and content to be the most important aspects of the site. With that said, the revenue sharing program should not be the only reason you contribute to VGPRO. The amount of money you earn from content contributed to VGPRO will be strongly correlated to the quality of the content you contribute as well as how much time you spend promoting your work.

How do I setup my account to make money with my content?
Once you achieve "PRO" status, beginning to make money on your published content is easy. Here are some step by step instructions.
- Start off at your VGPRO account management page (http://www.vgpro.com/profile/your_profile_here/account).
- Select the "Configure Adsense" tool. Hint: it's the one with the dollar sign.
- Next, if you already have a Google Adsense account, simply put in your Adsense ID and click submit.
- If you do not have a Google Adsense account, you can create one by going to Google's Adsense Sign-up page and following the instructions.
- Once you've associated your VGPRO account with a valid Google Adsense ID, all of the content you contribute will automatically include your Google Adsense ads.

How do I check how much money I've made?
Revenue updates from Google can be checked here. Google provides an easy tool for you to get access to all your revenue numbers. Your revenue generation will not begin until you’ve:
- Signed up for Adsense.
- Achieved "Pro Contributor" status and linked your Adsense ID with your VGPRO Account.

How do I track the performance of Google Adsense on VGPRO?
The easiest way to keep track of your Adsense earnings on VGPRO is to create a channel in your Google Adsense account strictly for VGPRO. This will allow you to separate your VGPRO earnings from your other sites.
- Log in to your account at https://www.google.com/adsense
- Click the Channels link below the Adsense Setup tab.
- Choose the Adsense for content sub-tab and click the URL Channels link
- Click Add new URL channel, and in the resulting text box, enter the URL that you would like to track.
- Click Add channels.
The new URL channel will begin tracking data almost immediately.
